The new logo is an evolution of the company’s previous logo, with a look and feel that embodies RTG Medical’s dedication and commitment to improving the lives of those we work with. While our name remains the same, RTG prides itself on the integrity and values we form our relationships on. Therefore, we wanted a logo that warmly introduces us to a conversation about what we can do for you. As we launch a newly designed logo, we want RTG travelers and clients not to forget who we are. We are still the same honest, transparent company we were prior,” said Chief Operations Officer and Co-Founder Jeremy Guenthner.

Here’s How RTG Medical Celebrated Being Named One of the “Best Places to Work in Omaha” for the Third Year in a Row

"BPTW-1

RTG Medical has been voted Best Places to Work in Omaha by Baird Holm and the Omaha Chamber of Commerce for the third year in a row! To be considered for this award, employees answer survey questions regarding RTG’s work environment, culture, management, and opportunities for professional growth. Winning this award for the third year in a row represents how each employee values the culture that makes RTG one of the “Best Places to Work in Omaha”.

So, how did the company celebrate such a big award? With a field trip, of course. Employees kicked off the day by chartering to the awards luncheon in Omaha, then enjoyed an afternoon of games and mingling at Lucky Bucket Brewery! If you haven’t been to the brewery yet, we highly recommend it for group outings.

"BPTW-22

What makes RTG such a fun and unique place to work? Let some of our employees tell you!

Shelby Cameron, Senior Recruiter, says, “I feel RTG Medical is the best place to work because of the atmosphere. I enjoy all of the fun events RTG is able to offer year round and the energy RTG employees bring to the work place every day which gets me excited to come into work. I also enjoy how tight knit RTG is. I have a home away from home and I love that about my work!”

"BPTW-49

Others describe RTG as a company that genuinely cares and values its employees to encourage them to work hard and create an environment that is positive. They love being rewarded for the hard work with fun outings, delicious food, and prizes.

"BPTW-33/

Emily Kimmell, Credentialing Specialist, says, “I love working here because of the collaborative environment. There is cooperation and shared goals all revolving around helping each other grow in the professional lives. Everyone shares the same vision and is dedicated to work toward our goals. The culture here at RTG is something that really drives a positive work environment.”

"BPTW-37

TJ Butler, Senior Recruiter, describes RTG as the best because he’s never worked at a place that genuinely puts people first.

“From the top down, RTG Medical understands the significance of its people, and that culture reflects on how we treat our traveling medical professionals.  I feel like we are one big family at RTG Medical. That culture and mindset makes it natural to carry it over to how we treat our Travelers.  Personally, I treat each and every Traveler I come across as a teammate/family member and not just a number because that’s how we are treated internally at RTG Medical.  I’ve been around the block a time or two but RTG Medical truly is a special place to be apart of.  When you hear people talking about the grass being greener on the other side, the other side is RTG Medical, and I can’t imagine a place where the grass could possibly be greener!”

"BPTW-9

RTG is proud to be named one of the Best Places To Work in Omaha for the third year in a row. We are thankful to be a part of a community that recognizes companies that are trying to build a better workplace and work to create cultures that put their employees first.

A special thank you to our amazing photographer, Elliot Janssen, for capturing the day of RTG celebrating its employees!

RTG Medical Selected as One of Inc. 5000 Magazine’s Fastest Growing Companies

5000_color-stacked

RTG Medical has once again been selected as one of Inc. 5000 Magazine’s national fastest-growing private companies with a three-year growth of 112% (and also received the accolade in 2005, 2007, 2008). The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses. Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees on the Inc. 5000.

Not only have the companies on the 2018 Inc. 5000 (which are listed online at Inc.com, with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc., available on newsstands August 15) been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists. The 2018 Inc. 5000 achieved an astounding three-year average growth of 538.2 percent, and a median rate of 171.8 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $206.1 billion in 2017, accounting for 664,095 jobs over the past three years.

“RTG’s growth didn’t just happen, it’s been in the works for years. We have developed a culture that attracts performance-driven people and we have invested in the systems, processes, and procedures needed to support their success. RTG has owned the space of a fun place to work. Our marketing has encompassed how extremely giving we are to the community. We have a prosperous place that intends to keep going.” said Dave Guenthner, CFO.

In addition, Tara Lea, Executive Director from the Fremont Chamber of Commerce added, “the Fremont community is blessed to have RTG Medical as a strong business partner! The growth of their organization has stimulated multiple developments throughout our regions. As the population of RTG employees continues to increase the city of Fremont is also seeing a direct upsurge in new organizations opening their doors. From brand new boutiques to restaurants, gas stations to grocery stores, big things are happening in Fremont thanks to those employees who call RTG Medical home!”

RTG Medical’s Nurses Week Campaign Receives Marketing Award for Second Year in a Row

AMA Pinnacles Award

The months and weeks leading up to the second week of May in the medical staffing industry every year consists of a lot of strategizing, planning, deadlines, and acquiring hundreds of addresses. All of this is done with one goal in mind to show just how much we appreciate the medical travelers on our staff.

RTG Medical is proud to announce that their agency, Iridian Group, a full-service marketing agency headquartered in Omaha, won a Platinum Award in the Large Business Category for their work on RTG’s Nurses Week Promotion at the American Marketing Association Omaha’s Pinnacle Awards Ceremony. RTG previously took home the Silver Award in 2016 for the same promotion for the care package Theme campaign so that traveling nurses would have resources to keep them healthy while on the go. We also added a social campaign where people could nominate their favorite nurse.

After a nomination and application process, the AMA Pinnacle Awards use marketing leaders throughout different communities all across the country to review and rate each category.

Veronica Barrientos, RTG Medical’s Marketing & Brand Ambassador said, “It truly is an honor to be selected as an AMA Omaha Pinnacles award recipient for the second year in a row. A lot of hard work and thought by numerous people go into the gifts we send to our travelers!”

RTG Medical and Iridian Group also took home a Gold award this year for the RTG Culture Video, which you can check out here!
