Our Favorite Nursing Blogs- The Advice GiversOn Monday, we gave a small sampling of some of the great nursing blogs that are out there on the web, focusing specifically on what we’d like to call “the storytellers.”

As we mentioned then, the nursing profession brings together a wide variety of people, and those who have something special to say about the profession do so with one common passion: caring for others.

So, without further adieu, here are the rest of our of nursing blogs we enjoy. We hope that nurses or anyone thinking about entering the profession would enjoy them, as well.

    A Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 15 years of experience, Nurse Alice Benjamin has reached celebrity status, and has appeared on several television shows as well as radio programs as a health correspondent. On her blog, she talks about a wide variety of subjects, from exercising tips, to up and coming medical research, as well as changes/advancements in the health care system.
  • Theresa Brown, The NY Times Well Blog
    Under the NY Times Well Blog, contributor Theresa Brown helps to maintain the integrity of nurses by explaining their importance to the public, detailing  who they are and the challenges they face.
  • Digital Doorway
    A life coach expert for nurses, Nurse Keith’s blog offers valuable insights on “how to care for yourself,” (a much need resource for nurses), focusing on ways to enrich the lives of nurses all while aiming to help them maintain their happiness and passion.   • RT Connections
    Renee Thompson is another life coach/motivational who focuses specifically on the nursing profession. Her blog topics vary from leadership skills, career choices, fighting burnout, to preventing bullying in a health care setting and a lot more. This is definitely a blog worth checking out.
